In order for you as a student - at any level - to Prepare...Understand...and Grow, you need someone in your corner who will Listen...Care...Understand...and Share.
Tutoring is a long-term investment in your educational process. It takes more than a one-shot session to help you navigate the potentially rough seas of academia. You need someone you can trust, confide in, believe is in your corner at all times. We are here for you.
We at TutorPUG truly want to help. We have all been called to teach, coach, mentor or instruct in some way in our lives.
All of us will admit to being caught in an academic pickle at some point in our learning careers. Please don't think of us as just a "tutor"...we want to form a long-term learning relationship with the student. We are your advocate. We truly strive to be the student's best friend.
Parents. Peer pressure. Boyfriends, girlfriends, family issues. You're grounded, your dog died, you didn't make the team. And you are convinced your teacher is speaking Swahili and everyone else gets it - all of it - except you.
We all have been there. Even the smartest kid in the class struggles with something. (Maybe not math...but something. Promise.)
Our philosophy towards tutoring is that academic preparation for a subject is just one small factor contributing to a student's overall success. We are your partner in the whole picture. We listen, we care, we understand, we share.
We are more than just math. We are more than just school. We are your academic partner in your preparation for life.
who are we?
Our "pack" consists of experienced tutors from all kinds of backgrounds - from Accounting to Zoology (get it? A to Z?)- in order to offer a comprehensive list of services to clients.

He received his Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Baylor University in 2014, and received his Masters in Chemical Engineering from OU in 2019. Growing up in Texas, he played baseball and football throughout high school. When he is not deriving or integrating equations, or making neato volcanoes out of baking soda and vinegar, he enjoys bowling, watching sports, and cooking fajitas.

Shelby is a recent first-generation graduate of Binghamton University in New York, where she earned two B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She graduated summa cum laude and with a range of accolades to her name, including the President's Award (Spring 2018) and the Chancellor's Award (Spring 2019), the highest honors in the State University of New York system for her academic achievement and extracurricular involvement. She enjoyed spending time in her inorganic chemistry research lab, where she was a contributor to several published scientific papers, as well as volunteering as an EMT at a local ambulance agency, working as a mentor with low-income students, and fundraising for her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She has been tutoring both privately and for her academic institutions for the past 6 years, in subjects ranging from freshman writing to MCAT prep (she scored in the 98th percentile on her own MCAT!) to advanced molecular photochemistry.
